Bjorn and Revna, the man of reason and the necromantic witch return! This time tracking a string of grisly occult murders in a southern Scandinavian kingdom.
The original series, published by Black Caravan, transported us to the early Viking Age, a faithless Norseman detective is summoned to a Scandinavian hamlet where a series of murders have occurred. Discovering the dark and bloody history of the village he investigates the local outcast, a necromantic witch who brings his atheistic values into question.
Determined to prevent further homicides the two band together to discover the identity of a serial killer, and after a deadly showdown with an ancient blood god, the Black Goat of the Woods, the two are driven to investigate all manner of the strange.
Revna is an outcast due to her supernatural abilities. She was a young girl when her family was executed for witchcraft. Living alone in the forbidden woods, villagers still secretly call upon her for mystical aid. Sent by order of the king, Bjorn is a loner tasked with the investigation of witches and heretics for the Odin-worshipping Vikings. Feared by common folk, Bjorn carries out his missions with cold and impartial ruthlessness.
In the return of WE DON’T KILL SPIDERS in July with Season of the Witch, we’ll see the pair sought out by a local Jarl and compelled to investigate a string of disappearances that could lead to a bloody conflict between two warring Viking clans.
